Law No. (1) of 2006 We, Saqr Bin Mohamed Bin Salim Al Qasimi Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate After perusal of Free Zone Law of 2000; And Free Zone Law No. 1 of 2005; And Emiri Decree No. 2 of 2005 on Establishing Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority; And Resolution dated on 3/1/1996 on Establishing the Free Zone; And based on what had been presented to us by Crown Prince & Deputy Ruler; have promulgated the following Law: Article (1) The following locations which boarders are shown in the attached maps shall be added to the fourth location of Fourth Free Zone referred to in Law no. 1 of 2005 with an area of one million and one hundred ninety thousand and seven hundred fifty-four square meters and is subject to management and supervision of Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority: a- Location with an area of twenty thousand square meters located in Al Jazeerah Al Hamra to the north of Khalid Bin Al-Waleed School. b- Location with an area of one hundred eighty-two thousand and three hundred nine and half meters located to the south of Ras Al Khaimah Aviation Club and to the west of Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics Company. c- Location near Emirates Road and it is divided into two sections, one is with an area of six hundred thousand square meters and the second one is with an area of one hundred twenty thousand square meters. Article (2) Boarders of fourth location mentioned in Article (1) of Free Zone Law no. 1 of 2005 shall be modified to include what had been mentioned. Article (3) By this law, RAK Media City shall be established in the Fourth Free Zone in the place and within boarders shown on the map. Article (4) The fourth location of the Fourth Free Zone and additional locations adjoined thereto as mentioned above, including RAK Media City, shall be subject to management and supervision of Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority. Article (5) RAK Investment Authority President or his representative shall issue systems and instructions of RAK Media City in term of its objectives, competences, powers and appoint officials and employees thereof and determine their competences, duties, salaries, privileges and service termination. Article (6) This Law shall come into force as date of its promulgation.   • Boarders of fourth location mentioned in Article (1) of Free Zone Law no. 1 of 2005 shall be modified to include what had been mentioned. 

     
  • By this law, RAK Media City shall be established in the Fourth Free Zone in the place and within boarders shown on the map. 

     
  • The fourth location of the Fourth Free Zone and additional locations adjoined thereto as mentioned above, including RAK Media City, shall be subject to management and supervision of Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority.
