Paragliding

The Jazirah Aviation Club is licensed by the General Civil Aviation Authority. The Zoo

The RAK Zoo is home to many rare animals and offers visitors the opportunity to see the animals in an environment that resembles their natural habitat. It also consists of many facilities such as an Equestrian club for horse riding (for women), restaurants and cafes, a special corner for the children, horse and camel riding tracks, and prayer rooms for men and women. It is built on an area of one million square metres and features African and white lions, white and rare golden tigers, black panthers and cheetahs.

Gardens and Parks

Ras Al Khaimah is famous for its greenery and evergreen trees. There are many natural parks in Kheran, Digdaga, Shaam, Rams and Khatt. The Saqr Public Park is the oldest and largest family entertainment park in this emirate. Located in the Al Kharran area, eight kilometers south of Ras Al Khaimah, Saqr Public Park is considered an ideal place for families to relax and unwind. Built on a total area of 280 dunums, the park is home to palm and ghaf trees, and features a barbecue area, umbrellas and chairs, entertainment games, sports games, indoor air-conditioned rooms, various restaurants, playgrounds for children, lake for boats, waterfall, a train offering fun rides around the park and a train hot air balloon.


Khatt Springs

The waters of the Khatt Springs rise from a depth of 90 feet underground level with temperatures nearing 40°C. Due to its mineral content and heat, the water is said to have medicinal benefits for soothing skin ailments, rheumatic diseases and muscular problems.

Located adjacent to the Hajjar Mountains, the Golden Tulip Khatt Springs Resort & Spa is built to resemble a castle and offers therapeutic hot springs, precious stone treatments, hot stone treatment and Ayurveda medicine. The hotel has within its premises, three natural springs with a temperature of about 40°C. The area is also home to a large number of archaeological sites of all periods.
