Amiri Decree Number (12) of 2024 Regarding the amendment of Emiri Decree No. (4) of 2016 We, SAUD BIN SAQR BIN MUHAMMED Al QASSIMI, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, After perusal of the: Emiri Decree number 12 of 2015 regarding the establishment of RAK International Corporate Centre; Emiri Decree No. 4 of 2016 amending Emiri Decree No. 12 of 2015; Law number 2 of 2017 as amended regarding the establishment of RAK Economic Zone and the Supervisory Authority; Law number 2 of 2024 regarding the amendment of Law number 1 of 2023 on the establishment of the Department of Future; Emiri Decree number 6 of 2023; Emiri Decree number 24 of 2023, and As the public interest may require. We have promulgated the following decree: Article (1) Article 3 of Emiri Decree number 4 of 2016 shall be amended to read: a. RAKICC shall have competency to license, register, and amend free zone companies and international companies. b. Companies licensed and registered by RAKICC shall be allowed to operate and exercise activities within the free zone areas supervised by Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority. Article (2) The following shall be repealed: a. Article 1 of the Emiri Decree number 6 of 2023. b. Emiri Decree number 24 of 2023. c. Any provision of any other local law to the extent to which it is in conflict with the provisions hereof. Article (3) This decree shall take effect as of 1st January 2024, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
