Residency renewal request for people working in the public sector
1.1 Residence renewal
This includes government and semi-government entities (federal ministries/ government departments/ Courts of Rulers and their representatives/ entities that do not fall under labor law/ sports associations and clubs/ people working in the police, security and armed forces/ foreign embassies, consulates, organizations, social clubs, churches, schools run by embassies/ public companies and organizations/ public companies and organizations operating in the free zones)
Conditions and required documents:
1. Residence renewal request signed by the sponsor + entity's seal, including a recent personal picture of the sponsored with a white background.
2. The sponsored passport (valid for 6 months at least)
3. Original medical fitness report (not older than three months)
4. A certificate of good conduct.
5. Copy of labor contract or salary certificate.
Notes:
- Residency is granted for 1, 2 or 3 years according to the validity of the passport
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the Preventive Medicine Administration in Abu Dhabi and Dubai)
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the preventive medical department, Abu Dhabi health authority, Dubai health authority, and Dubai health fitness center.
1.2- Residency renewal request for people working in the private sectors (work & labor)
Conditions and required documents:
1. Residence renewal request signed by the sponsor + entity's seal, including a recent personal picture of the sponsored with a white background.
2. The sponsored passport (valid for 6 months at least)
3. Origin medical fitness report (not older than 3 months)
4. A copy of business license.
5. A copy of labor card
6. The original entry permit (validity from entry into the UAE or changing the status is 60 days)
7. A certificate of good conduct.
Notes:
- Residency is granted for 1, 2 or 3 years according to the validity of the passport
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the Preventive Medicine Administration in Abu Dhabi and Dubai)
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the preventive medical department, Abu Dhabi health authority, Dubai health authority, and Dubai health fitness center.
- If the sponsored age is more than 60 years, a payment receipt of (5000 DHS) shall be attached in the labor card receipt request.
1.3- Residency renewal request for investors/ partners
Conditions and required documents:
1. Residence renewal request signed by the sponsor + entity's seal, including a recent personal picture of the sponsored with a white background.
2. The sponsored passport (valid for 6 months at least)
3. Original medical fitness certificate (not older than 3 months).
4. A copy of business license.
5. A certificate of good conduct.
6. Payment receipt for the fees of the partner and investor (10,000 DHS)
Notes:
- Residency is granted for 1, 2 or 3 years according to the validity of the passport
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the Preventive Medicine Administration in Abu Dhabi and Dubai)
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the preventive medical department, Abu Dhabi health authority, Dubai health authority, and Dubai health fitness center.
1.4- Residency renewal request for people not authorized to work:
Conditions and required documents:
1. Residence renewal request signed by the sponsor + entity's seal, including a recent personal picture of the sponsored with a white background.
2. The sponsored passport (valid for 6 months at least)
3. Original medical fitness report (not older than three months)
4. A certificate of good conduct.
5. Marriage continuity certificate.
6. A copy of labor or establishment contract for the partner signed and stamped by the Economic department or a service agent contract for the investor.
7. A copy of the sponsor passport with the residency.
Notes:
- Residency is granted for 1, 2 or 3 years according to the validity of the passport
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the Preventive Medicine Administration in Abu Dhabi and Dubai)
- The medical fitness certificate is issued from the preventive medical department, Abu Dhabi health authority, Dubai health authority, and Dubai health fitness center.
- For children under (18) years, medical fitness report and good conduct certificate are not required.
- 17 years old child shall be granted a one year residency.
- 16 years old child shall be granted a two years residency.
- Children under 16 years old shall be granted a three years residency except the daughters.
- For daughters under 18 years old and above, a commitment letter of being unmarried shall be submitted.
- The sponsored residency is granted as per the sponsor's.
- The partner's share is (73,500 DHS).
- A residency of one year shall be granted for all humanitarian cases, except whatever is excluded.
