Issuance of a Regular Passport

Application for a New Passport

Required Documents and Conditions:

Original Family Book and a copy
A coloured passport-size photograph (Polaroids and scans are not accepted)
A Copy of the birth certificate if the birth date is not mentioned in the Family Book
Presence of the applicant or his/her guardian in case of minors

Application for a Replacement of a Lost Passport

Required Documents and Conditions:

If the passport was lost inside the UAE, bring a police report
If the passport was lost abroad:
A report from the country where it was lost attested from the UAE embassy or consulate
The return ticket by which the passport holder entered the UAE
Original Family Book and a copy
A coloured passport-size photograph (Polaroids and scans are not accepted)
A Copy of the birth certificate if the birth date is not mentioned in the Family Book
Presence of the applicant or his/her guardian in case of minors

Application for a Replacement of a Damaged Passport

Required Documents and Conditions:

Family Book and a copy
A coloured passport-size photograph (Polaroids and scans are not accepted)
The damaged passport
A report from the Civil Defense if the cause of the damage was a fire
AED 300 fees
