Private School Permit Issuance Request 

This service allows the applicant to submit a request for issuing a license for a new school. 

Process Description
✓    Submit the application form 
✓    Pay the applicable fees
✓    Receive the approval 

Required Documents
✓    Copy of the site map – engineering blue print for the building 
✓    Copy of a valid passport
✓    Copy of the Family Book
✓    Project Economic Feasibility study
✓    Detailed plan of the school
✓    Good conduct certificate
✓    Initial approval

Application Form Fee: AED 700
License Issuance Fee: AED 10,000 (Schools), AED 5,000 (Institutions and Centres)

Licence Renewal/Amendment Request 
Through this service, the applicant may request the following: 
License renewal for the academic year
Expansion/Reduction of the number of classes
Addition/Amendment of school curriculum /educational stages / activities
Changing the School/Institute Director
Amending the school/institute data
Changing the name of the school/institute
Withdrawal of a partner
Changing the representative of the Board of School/Institute
Waiver of the license
License cancellation
Changing the location of the school/institute
Approving on the addition of a new school building

Fees
Fees are paid according to:
✓    Educational stages and number of students in schools: Starting from AED 3,000 to AED 10,000 
✓    Licensed activities in private institutes and centres: Starting from AED 3,000 to AED 5,000

Request to Organize Seminars and Educational Lectures 
Through this service, the applicant may submit a request to organize private educational awareness seminars and lectures.

Process Description
✓    Fill out and submit the Application Form 
✓    Coordinate logistics affairs with the Department of Student Activities and Scientific Competitions
✓    Organise the session, lecture or workshop
