Change, Addition or Removal of Activities
This service allows you to submit a request to change, remove or add an activity on the license through the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah.
Process Description
1. Fill out the application form at the Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah
2. Submit the required documents
3. Pay the fee
4. Collect the new license
Requirements and Conditions
✓ An announcement should be published in one of the official newspapers for one day through the Department of Economic Development (if the activity affects the trade name)
✓ The place of business shall be in line with the activities requested for addition (in the opinionof the Department of Consumer Control and Protection)
✓ Amend the trade name if necessary
Required Documents
✓ Original Department of Economic Development and Chamber license (if valid)
✓ Board of Directors’decision to change the activity, in the case of companies
✓ Approval from other governmental bodies in regard to the requested activity - if required (change, removal and addition)
✓ Memorandum of Association Annex indicating the change of activities (for all company types)in the case of change, addition or removal of activities.
✓ Memorandum of Association Annex (after amendment) certified by the Ministry of Economy (through the typing centres at the Department of Economic Development)
